Our Philosophy
A Philadelphia native, since childhood our Founder Stuart has had a passion for both traditional and modern design, inspired by the city's vibrant architectural landscape.
Guided by that passion, we seek cohesion between the traditional and the modern, attempting always to achieve harmony between old and new, by designing and renovating structures in ways that both serve the modern and utilitarian needs of their occupants and meld beautifully with the historic fabric of, in some cases, an existing building, and in others, the city of Philadelphia itself.
We honor the best historic features, and update where needed to fit our clients’ modern lifestyles and provide a fresh yet grounded aesthetic. For us, this balance between old and new represents the very core of Philadelphia’s identity as an old city in the modern age.
